Hi! My name is Leah, Owner of The Sunroom Wax Studio it’s so nice to meet you! I’ve been waxing for nearly six years, and creating The Sunroom has been such a dream of mine. I wanted a space that feels warm, welcoming, and completely judgment-free where you can come as you are, feel comfortable with me, and leave feeling even more confident in your skin. I can’t wait to welcome you into my little corner of sunshine.
The Sunroom Experience
At The Sunroom, waxing is never one-size-fits-all. I take my time, pay attention to the little details, and tailor every service to you and your skin. My waxing style is thorough but gentle, with a focus on making you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in—especially if you’re nervous or it’s your first wax. Expect good conversation, zero judgment, plenty of education on aftercare, and no rushing you out the door. My goal is simple: smooth skin, happy skin, and an appointment you actually look forward to.

For the best results, let your hair grow to about the length of a grain of rice—usually around 2–3 weeks of growth. Try not to shave between appointments so we can get your hair growing on a consistent wax cycle.

You’ll definitely feel the wax, but I do everything I can to make your service as quick and comfortable as possible. I use hard wax only, work in manageable sections, and will talk you through the entire process—especially if it’s your first time.

Come with clean, dry skin and avoid heavy lotions or oils on the area being waxed. Gently exfoliating 24–48 hours beforehand can help, too. Most importantly, don’t stress!

A little redness or sensitivity right afterward can be completely normal. For the first 24–48 hours, give your skin some extra love by avoiding excessive heat, friction, heavy sweating, and exfoliation. I’ll also walk you through aftercare and recommend products based on your skin and waxing routine.
